I like Chakat's logic. May I also add that the only way she can keep living at her current status is that not only does she have to marry, but produce a male heir which would not only inherit Hero's estate but her father's as well. I can image that Evon will toss a monkey wrench into this at sometime either by manipulation or deciding that she really cares for Hero and isn't going to give him up with out a fight.

I'm not allowed to comment on this as I know too darn much.

This character caught my interest right after his claim that he didn't kill Evon's parents. If you think about it her powers are abnormally strong when they go out of control and it was said he kept her weak on purpose. You ever get the feeling that this bad guy isn't really bad hes just acting a such. Do you think he was perhaps trying to keep her weak so the Cabel wouldn't manipulate her power? or perhaps he is evil and he did this on note for them. Speculation is speculation but with something like this I'm quite eager to find out. In the end I think hes interesting in my book as a antagonist (and possible protagonist but assumptions are assumptions).
